Welcome to Tentry Heys Bed & Breakfast

A warm welcome is extended from this Victorian guest house in its own grounds. Tentry Heys is situated in Queen’s Park, a quiet residential area very close to the river Dee and 5 minutes walking distance of the city centre.  Only a short walk from the National Express coach point and a walk/short taxi from the railway station.  If travelling by car there is adequate onsite parking so once the car is parked just leave it and walk. It is 5 minutes walk to the shops, restaurants & pubs and also the local Records Office for those researching family history.  Chester has existed since Roman times and can still be enjoyed by day and by night. It is a lively city, steeped in history with a cathedral, university and of course the Rodeo Racecourse.  It also has great bars, restaurants, traditional pubs, and a very varied music scene.

It is a haven for those looking for a different shopping experience. 
Small, individual shops can be found on the two tiered Medieval Rows.  There is nowhere else in the country which has such quaint & unusual setting.

The guest house is within a stone’s throw of The Groves, a short walk over the “Hollyoaks” suspension bridge takes you to the river with its boating activities, bandstand, cafes, restaurants & promenade.

If you are interested in walking it is also a great spot for striking out to North Wales, Shropshire and of course other parts of Cheshire.
It is also only a short train ride/drive to both Manchester & Liverpool.
A perfect location for visiting the three top cities in the Northwest.
